Privacy policy

How CzechStay handles the personal data you send us through this website.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller is Tereza Kocí, a self-employed person (IČO 29677904) based in Brno, Czech Republic, e-mail info@czechstay.cz, phone +420 731 190 240. The registered address on file with the Trade Licensing Register is not published here; it can be looked up under this IČO at ares.gov.cz.

What data we collect

When you send the contact form we receive the details you type in: your name, e-mail, optionally your phone or WhatsApp number, where you are now, what you are interested in and the message you write. We also record the language and the page you sent the form from.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

We use your details only to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for it, to arrange the free introductory call. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken at your request before a contract. If we later work together, we also process your data to perform the contract and to meet legal obligations, for example accounting.

Who receives your data

Form submissions are received and stored by our hosting provider Netlify, Inc., which acts as our processor, and are forwarded to our e-mail. Netlify is based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA under the safeguards required by the GDPR, for example standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months. If we work together, we keep the client file for as long as needed to provide the service, and accounting documents for the period required by law.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers and does not load fonts or scripts from third parties.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@czechstay.cz. You also have the right to complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.gov.cz).
