Questions we hear most

Is this a tourist visa?
No. Family reunification is about a long-term stay in the Czech Republic, not a short tourist visa.
Who can join me?
Most often a husband or wife and children. In some situations other relatives, such as parents or a partner, under specific conditions set by the authorities. Tell us your case and we will tell you honestly what to look into.
How much does it cost?
Our packages cost 13,000, 18,000 or 25,000 CZK. Official fees are set by the authorities and are paid separately.
How long does it take?
The authority decides within its own time limits and we do not promise a date. In the free call we tell you what to expect.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Every package is paid in two payments, and for an individual programme including insurance and flights (from 65,000 CZK) we prepare an individual instalment plan on request.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. The outcome does not depend on us. We help you prepare the application and the documents.
Are you a law firm or a practising advocate?
No. Tereza has a law degree but is not a practising advocate, and CzechStay is not a law firm. We are a consulting and assistance service and do not provide legal representation.
Do you only work in Brno?
No. We work with families anywhere in the Czech Republic by phone, video call and e-mail. In-person meetings are available in Prague, Brno, Olomouc and Ostrava.
